So, my writing challenge this year has been a spring cleaning from A to Z in my Searching for EMWA world. One of the things I’m trying to do is clean out my old drafts with some revisions and post them. This post was started in March 2015 when winter was wrapping up here in Chicago. I had already written Lovin’ Me Some Winter! where I was gushing about all of the winter snow we were getting in February–and I just never finished. Today, I’m trying really hard to channel some kind of positivity about the white stuff after receiving receiving the following notice on my cell phone this morning:
Yes. Today has been Saturday, April 27, 2018. April!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And the weather forecasters were not lying. It went from this while walking the dogs this morning:
to this
in less than 9 hours!
So, on to that channeling of positive feelings about snowy, blowy, wintery mixes.
Lovin’ Me Some Winter–Part 2 (2015)
Ok, I know. I’m a little crazy, but it has been so much fun to play in the snow this winter!
From snowshoeing…
to skiing…
to ice skating…
to walking in all of the beautiful snow…
After 5 years of living in the South, I have loved being in a winter wonderland again!!!
Ok, back in 2019. I’m still cold and not wanting to go out and walk the dogs. However, it’s supposed to be in the 50s tomorrow afternoon!! I’ll take it!
No more winter for me! We sweated through the nazca desert in Peru and it felt good…even though I got a sunburn! Do’oh
