Made it! 30 posts in 30 days!
Today’s Prompts:
- Today, write a recap of your experience. What was your favorite prompt? Least favorite? What have you learned?
Back in January, I posted my Three Word Mantra, which is a collection of my new years resolutions in an overarching word set. My words this year are open, creative and agile/agility–and this writing challenge has been all three! I have been open to the practice of writing and reading the blogs of others and joining the health conversation related mainly to breast cancer for an extended period of time. I have been open to meeting new people and gaining new perspectives. I have been creative in writing these posts, cultivating my skills. This intensive of a writing blast forced me to revisit things like haikus and my photography, and to practice with discipline. I have also been agile, navigating the challenge of producing 30 posts in 30 days, remembering what it was like to play with words again.
This writing challenge was a chance to revisit my past and reflect on where I am headed. I’ve been able to look at the tools I already had in place to help me grow and handle my new normal–as well as acquire some new ones. I didn’t expect this, but the HAWMC has helped me see that I’m truly reclaiming my health. Yes, I still have plenty to work on, but I’m able to see that I’m in a much better place.
Looking forward to next year! 🙂
Good for you! I am impressed!

Wow! 30 in 30 days! I don’t think I could do anything straight for 30 days. Except eat. I do eat daily. Pretty easy. Seriously, you did an incredible job with this!!!!

Hey! You actually followed this blog for 30 days–and made comments! 🙂 That is an accomplishment!!! And the support has meant a ton!!!!!! I’m trying to catch up on my reading/commenting to other blogs I follow and it’s not easy.
How is your school year wrapping up?

Thanks Marie! I remember your dedication from last year–and recognize how much you contribute without a special ‘challenge’! 🙂
