Thought I’d share some pics from a beautiful walk at the Lake I took this morning with Bleu, on an unseasonably warm October 1st in Chicago (where it was 81 degrees on the Southside). Not a bad way to kick off October. And yes, I would have gone swimming if I’d worn my suit or if I wasn’t fighting off an annoying cold. It was that gorgeous.

Love these pics!!! Yes, it was about 80 here yesterday as well and I sweated while staining part of front porch! Then gave up to watch football and have a beer!! Still need to get a good weekend to visit before the temps drop by um, 70 degrees!!
